SEMA 2011 Recap

Each year the ID Agency attends the annual SEMA tradeshow in Las Vegas and this year was no different. With several clients involved in the automotive aftermarket the agency kept busy throughout the week.

Kicking off the week the ID Agency showcased a project Ford Focus within the Ford manufacturer booth. The Focus received a Ford Design Award and several media outlets featured the car such as this article on AutoGuide.com. The vehicle and custom Leader bike will be shown throughout the year at various events in the area.

ID worked with Pirelli Tire for their press announcement held at the show with the news for Pirelli to consolidate its leadership in the premium segment and reinforce its track to road philosophy with the introduction of its new Formula 1-derived street tire – the P Zero Silver. ID invited key industry leaders and members of the media to attend this conference.

RTW also featured their new Mansory Ferrari 458 within the Pirelli booth at the tradeshow. DUB magazine's SEMA issue that was distributed throughout the tradeshow also contained the feature on RTW that ID was able to secure a couple months back.

Brembo held a media mixer to make a few announcements including becoming the official supplier of brakes for the new Dallara car for next season's IZOD IndyCar series, new UV coated discs along with new OE replacement brake pads, and a new CCM-R brake package. The ID Agency also helped manage a few key sponsorships for Brembo on key vehicles that included the RWB Porsche (winner of a Gran Turismo award), Street Concepts Raptor in the Toyo Tires booth, and the ID Agency Ford Focus. ID also filmed an interview with racing legend Mario Andretti that will released soon.

Formula DRIFT held their annual press conference at SEMA and this year announced the 2012 schedule, plans, and a new tech manager. ID invited key guests and media members to attend this event including Autoweek.

RECARO child seats were distributed by ID to key vehicles within manufacturer booths including Ford, Honda, and Chevy.

RECARO automotive was busy this year with interviews at the show that included key drivers such as Tanner Foust, Ken Block, Dave Mirra, and more. These video interviews will be shown soon on the Recaro Facebook page. RECARO also was involved with the media event held by Meguiar's car care within the Cosmopolitan hotel and showcased their new Pro Racer Ultima seat.

Bravado wheels showcased their product line at the show. ID introduced the new line of wheels built for modern American muscle to key media guests and enthusiasts such as MMA fighter Josh Barnett. Bravado looks to make a big impact in 2012.

Forza Motorsport 4 kept the momentum moving forward into the automotive industry with distribution of gaming consoles within key booths such as Hyundai, Dodge, and Pirelli. ID also secured placements of the FM4 logo on tuner vehicles displayed throughout the show connecting the game directly to the auto enthusiast.
